Failed because I got caught up in both Tennis Players and words that can be pronounced two ways. Stupidly I saw the Cities but it did not occur to me that that by itself was the answer.

And then failed to see that rotator was a palindrome. But i don’t think i would have succeeded even if i saw that. I’ve only heard of two of the movies, and I’m not good at the “part of the word” type.

Huh. Thought palindrome would outrank missing an s. Thought cities was a red herring because so obvious and along the diagonal.

Sunday was a mess for me.
I picked up on tennis players almost immediately, but I only knew three for it. I eventually tried it anyway, guessing on the fourth, just to see if I got a “One Away”, because I had nothing else to go on.
Once I saw that I didn’t, I knew it had to be a red herring, which helped a little, because what else could SELES be? Which got me that one.
And the Cities category was just way too general. I was expecting they’d have something else in common.
It’s Monday (a public holiday where I am) and I got a Rainbow. I saw Blue straight away but it seemed like a red herring. Then Purple is quite ridiculous, though I did figure out the category before the reveal.
