It’s Tuesday here. I don’t think I fully understood Purple. I assume they mean Mickey Mantle, a name I have vaguely heard of, but I don’t know what Emperors have to do with anything.

Did anyone else notice that there was three quarters of a red herring? Foxtrot, hotel, and yankee are all letters in the NATO alphabet.

Purple was total leftovers for me, and I also have no idea what emperor was doing there. Though I also don’t get @Quimby 's suggestion of Batman.

Regarding purple, per Wikipedia:

A royal mantle, or more simply a Mantle, is a garment normally worn by emperors, kings or queens as a symbol of authority.

When other people stepped in to be Batman when Bruce Wayne was hurt or missing they would always refer to it as taking over the “mantle” of Batman. Meaning the duties and responsibilities of a position. In fact in the context of Batman and the phrase “mantle of leadership” are the only times I have ever heard the word used in this way.

Frequently a category blatantly obvious to me ends up blue. This time it ended up yellow.
