Incidentally, Lite-Brite and the Chipmunks go back far earlier than the 1980s, though the latter may spark 1980s memories because of the Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon, 1983-90. It was not the first such adaptation.

Sorry, but I was a teenager in the 90s and spent the whole decade cursing my luck. The 80’s were clearly superior to the 90s.
