This just came up.
Thats fecal matter folks. Would it melt or go crispy?

Why don’t you experiment and get back to us.
I’m sure it would dry out and be crispy, like dog poop in the sun.
Jobby? Are you from Scotland or something?
Aye laddie, that I am.
I think you may be right. I did not want to ruin my George forman though and I have guests coming.
I think it would dry out and maybe go crumbly, like a dog egg in the hot summer sun.
I also think you might have to buy a new oven, if your wife were to find out.
It’ll dry out first; there’s a lot of water in fecal matter. Once it’s dry, I’m pretty sure it won’t melt, but will instead burn (if heated hot enough).
Somewhere out there on the interwebz I once saw a video of a guy taking a dump ahead of an advancing lava flow. Predictably, it released mucho steam and smoke when the lava made contact with it.
Out in the Utah desert, I once visdited a scientific research station where, since water had to be trucked in, they used an incinerating toilet, affectionately called the “Destroylet”. You put a liner into what looked pretty much like an ordinary toilet made of metal, and when you were finished you fired it up and it baked the waste, purportedly withpout significant odor. (I didn’t use it, and didn’t stick around to watch anyone else do so). So, even if it might temporarily “melt” (which I doubt) it ended up dry and crispy.

This one says it weasn’t odorless at all:

This one says it’s odorless, but, then again, they’re trying to sell them to you:
Thanks for this. It makes sense I suppose, especialy as people burn dung etc.
You can burn (dried) herbivore dung, as it contains lots of undigested cellulose. I doubt you’d get much of a fire from burning carnivore poop.
Properly vented they can be odorless (well odorless indoors, the odors are going outside). But that’s just odors from the incineration process. Doesn’t do anything for the stuff that never gets down to the incineration tank. People who use these in RVs usually keep some antiseptic sprays around, and those generally produce an odor as well.
