If you where a mutant would actualy want to go to Xaiver's school

Yes. When Patrick Stewart tells you to do something, you listen. I went to high school with mutants anyway, at least the X-Men are less spoiled and have cool superpowers.

Fair enough; takes all kinds to make a world, says I.

All the more Paquin and resurrection mojo for the rest of us, then, I suppose.

I wouldn’t. I’m more of the supervillain type. I’ll be Braggartman, the braggiest man in the land! My tales of astonishment and wonder will captivate ANYBODY! None can resist my blowhardy talents! NONE!

Except for maybe Deaflad. He’s my weakness, so I’ll take him out first. To dinner. And then kill him. For Islam.

It seems to me that most of the drawbacks the OP mentions are inherent to being a mutant, not to going to a particular school. I mean, if word gets out that you’re a mutant, there are going to be bigots picketing your school and trying to kill you and the like regardless of where you go. At least at Xavier’s, the bigots wouldn’t be inside the school with you.

Then again, the high school I did go to was very cool, and if it came down to a Sentinel versus Coach Russ, I’d put even money on Coach Russ. So maybe I personally wouldn’t have gone there, but it doesn’t seem like a bad decision.

Nuff said.

I’m a chessplayer.
We never get girls anyway. :frowning:

I’ll just play chess, practice my powers and dream.
(Rather like my actual school, except for the powers…)

Is this neccesarily true? I mean, sure, there’s anti-mutant bigotry and violence in the Marvel universe—but surely, it can’t be violently extreme everywhere. Wasn’t there a “mutant friendly” community featured in XTreme X-Men a few months ago, as just one example?

And…do we get to choose which version of the Marvel universe this is taking place in? The X-Men: Evolution world, for example, seems a bit safer. (The Mansion’s only gotten blown up once, and there aren’t as many supervillains—or heroes—active in the world.)

It must be the standard 616 univers and you would be going to a publickly known school for mutants with a student body of over 200 students.

oh yeah.
