I used to live near Port Huron, whose Interstates are exactly the opposite of this. I-94 goes more or less north-south and I-69 goes almost exactly east-west.
I grew up in DFW, but closer to I-30 than I-35 (still close though). My closest is I-35 while at school in Oklahoma.
Yep, I live right off of I-40. 840’s just down the road. I-24 and I-65 are only about 25-30 minutes away!
I live nowhere near any Interstate, I-40 is the one I actually know how to get to without leaving the state.
I’m about 7 miles from I-40.
About 10 miles from I-64.
About 15 miles from I-71
About 25 miles from I-65
About 35 miles from I-75
Grew up about 5 miles from I-24.
I live 20 miles from I-40 and 30 miles from I-44.
Howdy!
Sitting here, I can hear I-24 if the traffic is busy. The closest exit to my exit is the one for 840.
Hey, Electronic Chaos and NicePete, are you in Middle TN? If so, howdy neighbor. The rest of you guys I know.
I-10.
LA to Jacksonville.
I can almost see I-40 from my home. I’m about twenty minutes from I-65 and I-24 and about five minutes from TN840 (aka National Guard Parkway, but the name hasn’t come into common usage yet).
A big howdy to the rest of the Middle TN Dopers.
I’m a country drive from I-96 and US131
US 23 and Dixie Hwy are a couple hours away, funny about the dixie hwy I used to live a few miles from it down in Broward.

I finally had the bright idea of looking for the answer to this question.
Here’s an answer: Tennessee State Route 840 From Wikipedia
It would appear that your location is special because, according to Extremes In Length
I live by a section of I-10 that’s N-S (west side of San Antonio), but the road itself is an east-west road.
Me too! What are you doing Thursday night, me & some of the fellas are thinking about karaoke at High Park
Can’t remember where but I have been on a road where the signs said I was going both north and south at the same time. It was 2 North and South roads that met up and were traveling East and West on the stretch I was on.
I-75 is both to the east and west of me.
Interesting.
