If your going to San Fransisco...

I found Lulu to be really greasy (I had their signature chicken) and wasn’t that impressed. The other people I was with loved their meals. The atmosphere is really swanky.

I don’t know if the Stinking Rose is still in business, but I hate that place. Once we got a loaf of bread with shards of glass in it. Our gums were bleeding and we had really upset stomachs and we proved to the waiter that there was glass in the bread (there was glass in the new loaf, too) but they forced us to pay for our whole meal. Watch out!!

I don’t know about the Frank Lloyd Wright gift shop. As far as swimming in the ocean or the bay - get a quarter inch wetsuit if you insist on doing it. It’s very cold and subject to rip tides. The only people swimming are hard core athletes and tourists. The surfers all wear wetsuits.

Oh! That reminds me! A really cool place to go is The Mavericks in Half Moon Bay. It’s a surfing/windsurfing/hiking spot that has really treacherous waves and beautiful views. There’s a wall of rocks that the kids can climb on and at low tide the tide pools yield a lot of really cool creatures. I always liked going there.

There’s only one Frank Lloyd Wright building in the city of San Francisco. Built as gift shop in 1948, it’s now an art gallery.

It’s right off Union Square, on the little street that cuts off midblock to the east…Maiden Lane. Head east from Stockton Street.

Here’s a photo.

I’m surprised this didn’t bug anyone else…
It’s San Francisco, California. (Sorry to nit-pick)

That’s a block from my house… [anxiously awaits 21st b’day]

It’s always cold at the Golden Gate and Coit Tower and Twin Peaks, due to gusts of ocean breezes.
The boat to Alcatraz always catches tourists under-dressed.

Coit Tower Warning. It smells like a urinal.

Sorry, don’t mean to pee on your parade, as it were. But my wife and I hiked up there last month while in North Beach for the Italian Street Fair. We thought we’d check out the view from the top, but we couldn’t stand waiting around breathing in that stench, whilst waiting for the elevator.

Sorry about the spelling mistakes. Y hivo prablums wyth ma

Baglady, eh?
