I guess it is kind of disrespectful, but if so if pointing a gun at someone for no reason, so it would be hypocritical to get upset about it.
If you mean you’d shoot your SO, personally I don’t tote a weapon from room to room in my own home, so I wouldn’t be in a position to shoot anyone even if I wanted to. By not making any sudden moves, at least I can reduce the chances of accidental firing.
I don’t have the kind of “animal instincts” that cause me to flail, scream, soil myself, run or whatever. My instincts tell me to remain calm.
I chose “confused” because of the way the scenario was worded - “pointed at you”. Had it been worded “pointed in your direction” I would have chosen “Look over my shoulder”.
Besides, if that thing behind me is big enough and bad enough that my wiife considers shooting through me to kill it to be the best choice, well, I probably don’t want to look.
