In all honesty, I don’t think a gun would have helped the girl at all. She was attacked with a FLASHLIGHT, not a tire iron as we first heard. The guy shined the flashlight right into her eyes, blinding her. She couldn’t even get a good description of the attacker because of that, and had no idea where he was coming from. So of course a gun would have been so very useful. :rolleyes:
Her mother is back at work and I got a little bit more information on the whole thing. She’s doing ok, but it’ll be a while before she can really even do anything. All she can do is well, nothing. Hasn’t even been able to leave the house.
The police have been scouring the area with search dogs, in hope of scent, but nothing. Due to the nature of the attack, the description doesn’t help much either. But a bright light shining into your eyes in the darkness doesn’t help much for that. Fucker.
