IRC also means Internet Relay Chat. Sometimes people around here talk about SD chat. While it has nothing to do with this board- it isn’t endorsed or sponsored by the Chicago Reader and its subsidiaries- it periodically comes up in threads.
If your interested, do a search on past threads to find the servers and software that you need to connect.
It may not have been your question, but it’s close enough to IIRC to get some confused.
Used to be an IRCop, so IRC is no problem for me
