IKEA - a Swedish word meaning...

Yeah, Iteki, they were going to do it, but all IKEA shops have to be a minimum size of whatever the hell it is and no new shop in Ireland is allowed to be as big as that.

Apparently IKEA don’t think that a smaller shop would be worth their while, just for little old us and the government apparently will not relent. So, no IKEA for us.
Although a friend of mine pops over to Chester (is it Chester?) with a big van a couple of times a year and a list of requirements from a number of our circle. So I have friends who have IKEA in their houses, but from what I’ve seen, I don’t think I’ll be bothering.
And before anyone asks, no, my house is not a shrine to the Horror That Is Argos!

Ah, curse my spelling skills… not close, spot on!

curly chick, can they not build two across from eachother? Ok, they would loose a little of the walkthrough extra sales, but over here they quite often open temporary departments next door. Could put all the garden stuff in the “extension” or something…

I read this as “alien” keys, which pretty much sums up my opinion of Ikea. I have some stuff (like the LEKSVIK table that tsarina wants), and it’s pretty nice, but at some point I do want to buy some real furniture.

lol I didn’t even know about that… weird… ah well Ica is where I do my grocery shopping.
