I'm a... I'm a... What am I? (Let's invent a term)

carbon chauvinist

Anti-semiconductorite
Anti-siliconite
Lifeist

Adam and Eve, not Silicon Steve
Adam and Eve, not Silicon Steve

Well, a human can always claim to be created by God.

In any simulacrum that possibility is undermined.

You are proto-Butlerian.

Someone’s in for a horrific draining…

Actually, my dream world tends to consist more of playing professional baseball and being a world-class bowler than having sentient robots roaming–

Ah. Nevermind.

I’ll just let myself out. I vote for Bio-Supremacist, though.

No no, I am not against technology, I just think technology should be a slave to me; I should not be a slave to my technology.

Then bio-supremacist works for me.

For meaning #1 I’d say ‘sane’. For meaning #3, I think ‘short-sighted’ would be apt. For meaning #2, the most interesting (and hence the focus of most of the replies) I’ll go with ‘anthropist’. Though ‘carbonist’ is good, it tends to imply that you not only consider humans, but all current life on Earth, as superior to silicon-based machines. Which doesn’t seem like what you’re getting at to me.

Seconded, but it looks much better written than it sounds out loud.

Especially if one lisps.

Bio-supremacist seems the most accurate.
I would have proffered ‘Humanist’ if it didn’t already have another meaning.
I grew up thinking I was a humanist, because if God had talked to me, we would have been arguing, and I wouldn’t have listened to him. Humanist. Humans control their world.
Made sense at the time.

another vote for “sane.” IMO, “isms” are pretty much reserved for any one’s attitudes towards other people. frankly, my laptop simply is incapable of caring about the number of profanities I shout at it while waiting for that goddamn spinning beachball to go away and just show me my fucking files.

look, we designed and built electronics. in terms of digital logic, it’s nothing more than a shitload of switches. you can’t be bigoted against switches.
