I strongly feel that humans are superior to electronic devices. (Not all humans, of course, but in general. I certainly am.)
What kind of bigotry is that? I’ve heard “carbonist” to describe people who feel carbon-based life forms are superior to other life forms, but I wouldn’t call electronic devices a “life form”. “Humanist” has a different meaning.
Do you mean that you consider human beings to be superior to all currently existing electronic devices?
Or do you mean that, in an Asimovian* world of sentient robots, you’d consider the organic humans to be superior to the robots, no matter how smart or skillful they got?
Or do you mean that you believe that there never can or will be electronic devices that rival human beings (human-like robots; computers that could pass a Turing test, etc.)?
Definitely “yes” to #1 and #3. If I am wrong about #3 and we eventually produce actual sentient robots (#2), then I will reevaluate my bigotry. (If they have soft lips and skillful hands, they may actually be superior to men.)
