Congrats!
(And I love the name!)
Congrats!
(And I love the name!)
Congratulations!
He’s a cutie.
Relax and enjoy this time - it really flies. My older ‘baby’ is off to college in a few weeks.
Just unbelieveable.
Congratulations! I was just about to start a thread asking “Is the baby there yet?”
Congrats! Love the name! (You do know labor was the easy part, right?)
Love him, love him, read to him, love him. You can’t spoil a newborn, so love him. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. And above all, if you screw up…he won’t remember, so don’t fret.
Now, I’m waiting for the first new Mommy post “My baby’s doing X,Y,Z/Not doing A,B,C/Doing 1,2,3 too fast/too slow. Is that normal?”
Cute wee chap, congrats and all the best!
Welcome to the World, young Bennett.
The World is a little shopworn, but still grand. Enjoy it.
And, my sympathies on the name choice. With all those double letters in your name, your Mom has cost you a fortune in extra ink used, over the course of your life.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I’m so glad that the both of you are OK, even though things didn’t go as you had hoped for. In the end, all we want is a healthy mom and baby, right?
Bennett is a handsome little guy. I’m so excited for you - I know how much fun I have with my little man, and I’m sure you will too. I have to throw in a couple of
for you!
OH HE IS A DOLL! What an adorable baby! I might say the cutest I’ve seen since, well, mine of course!
Warm wishes, and Yes, sleep when the baby sleeps. Don’t be thinkin’ about cleaning the bathroom or straightening up - it doesn’t need to be done now. You NEED your rest…really. It’s a hard thing to do, when it seems like there’s so much that needs to be done, but honestly, you’re gonna be much more sane if you have some sleep.
It is a nightmare!!! I had back labour with BabyStainz because she was sunny-side-up in there, and the anesthesiologist was busy, so I couldn’t get an epidural. Lots of demerol was all they could do for me. Thank God I was only in labour for 5 hours!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! He is beautiful, and I love the name you chose for him.
Welcome to the world Bennett!!!
What a little doll! Congratulations, Elza, and welcome to your precious boy!
Congratulations. Wishing you a lifetime of joy with your new family.
Congratulations, he is a sweetie! Newborns are so yummy and wonderful. Enjoy these first few weeks and don’t feel shy about calling your LC or pedi with any questions you have. There is nothing they have not heard before!
Congratulations! He’s adorable. Sorry to hear about the back labor; glad you and baby are doing well.
GT
Gosh, he’s awfully cute. And the name is wonderful, too.
Congratulations, speedy healing, and looking forward to updates.
He’s beautiful!
Congrats & enjoy!
Congratulations! He’s gorgeous and you look great, too!
I don’t know if you’re planning on going back to work, but if you are, savor every moment with him while you’re home. Everything changes when you’re at work. I hate that my baby is at day care longer than she’s with us.
Let him take naps on your chest, sing to him, snuggle with him. Do it all while you can. My little Susie will be 5 months old this week and it has FLOWN by.
Babies change, seemingly, every few days and its so much fun to watch.
Congrats! I had back labor too so I sympathize. Take it easy and have fun with your little guy :).
Thanks, everyone:). We’re doing well - a rough couple of nights, but now that my milk has come in, things should get easier. He’s a great little baby, and everyone says he looks very ‘thoughtful’, which we’re translating into ‘he has the face of an old man’
. He does look like he’s thinking hard quite a lot, and it’s not resulting in ‘output’, so he’s just a thoughtful little guy:).
I am discovering that when someone talked about new parent exhaustion, they weren’t KIDDING!
E.
Congrats!
