That’s the closest to mine, too.
Which, according to those histograms, is pretty unusual.
When doing those lessons I’d always call whatever variation I had the norm, and the other a mutation associated with bad genes. Always fun to see how many examples I could present before someone went “Hey! Wait a minute!” ![]()
Oh, and speaking of teeth:
One of my adult teeth never existed. I had a baby tooth with nothing underneath it. It meant that I had room to keep one of my wisdom teeth, and also caused all of my teeth to shift so that my upper incisors don’t line up with my lowers. But I’m not sure if that’s genetic-- I don’t think any of my relatives had the same thing.
And my sister and I both have bony growths in our gums. They look concerning, but the dentist says that they’re rare but harmless, and they’ve never actually caused either of us any problems.
One other that apparently is genetic: I have a small bump on the left side of my nose, just above the nostril, right where the nose connects to the face. And two of my mom’s three brothers have the same thing, as well as her father (all of us on the left side).
I have that too - maybe we’re related!
I have very white eyelashes. In certain areas on my body my skin is nearly transparent.
My 2 brothers are freckly and have reddish blond hair. All but one of my sisters have l pale blond hair. The sister who’s darker haired looks like she doesn’t belong with
us. I teased her mercilessly. I told her the gypsy’s left her on the side of the road.
My joints are all loosey and have joint play. My Daddy had the same.
Li’l-wrekker can talk, lol?
I have no memory of writing, “the Li’l-wrekker can talk, lol”
I never use “lol”
But what I think I meant; I have trouble speaking or I stutter when I do. It’s been an issue my whole life.
The Li’l-wrekker has never had a ‘no talk’ problem. She just talks and talks. So many words.
I have central heterochromia (two toned eyes), and scoliosis. The latter has caused multiple problems as I age.
I’m missing two adult teeth.
I taste certain words.
I was diagnosed with SIDS when I was a couple of weeks old. My mom thinks really well on her feet, so I was successfully resuscitated (obviously, or this post would be much cooler).
I’m missing an entire set of nasal sinus cavities, although I forget if it’s the upper or lower set. I can move my eyes independently of each other, and I can (with some concentration), rotate my thumbs in opposite directions while twiddling without them bumping into each other.
Oh yeah. My dad’s were so loose, he couldn’t skate even with tight laces. I got almost as bad from him. Prone to sprains, not breaks.
I forgot in earlier posts that I have heterochromia as well.
Cool, do you know what kind. My mom had complete heterochromia, one eye gray, the other brown. Mine are blue/amber, which is typical for central.
One of my eyes is a constant cool blue sorta lavender. No hazel/ amber
The other is any color I want it.
Yep, reasons.
Ooh, I have a secret

,
I ain’t telling
I had to look it up, but it’s segmental heterochromia. One eye is brown; the other is brown on top and green on bottom.
Very cool.
You use a contact lens that you color with a Crayola. ![]()
I used to work with a woman who did something I hadn’t seen anyone do before…lick her own elbow.
My mom use to tell me if I licked my elbow I’d turn into a boy. Scared me, for real.
One of my dogs has that (I just looked it up). Good to know it doesn’t indicate any other issues.
I have synesthesia and experience numbers as having colors.
