I'm giving you 500 dollars. However, you must spend it immediately. What do you do with it?

Buy a bit less than a third of this lens, which I desperately want but can’t really justify.

I would spend it all on a pair of wireless stereo headphones that would play my music

**REALLY REALLY LOUD!!!

**My current headphones are nice but when I turn up the volume, they start to crackle. I sure do wish I knew whether the answer is to buy new headphones or whether it is to buy a new phone.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and the Sony MDRZX330BT headphones.

Could I get a fairly “high class” hooker for 500 bucks on less than 5 hours notice?

These go to 11.

you sure that’s not your ears crackling?

I’d pay this month’s rent, which is due in a couple of days anyway.

It could be. But if you have any ideas for me as to a better set of headphones or a better phone, I’d sure be grateful.

Acutally, I’d really like to know if it’s probable that my problem is with the phone or the headphones. I just have no idea.

HA! HA!

Good one! LOL!

Yeah, sorry, can’t really help you there. I’ve got a S3 and inexpensive Mee earbuds, that combination works well enough for me.

If you’re trying to power actual headphones with your S4, there might not be enough power to drive them.

Reason for the ears crackling comment is that’s when/how I discovered I had hearing loss problems.

I could really use an new pair of boots: Lucchese Austins

I’d buy (less than half of) the new sofa I have my eye on.

Some new shoes. I have a hard-to-find size, and few places carry anything that fits, and the ones they have are expensive and/or fugly.

If I could have a couple extra hours on that 5 hours, I’d drive up to NJ to go to Globe Shoes (the 5 hours would just about get me there by car). The money left over after gas and tolls would buy me 3-4 pairs there.

I would spend it on something I use everyday, then I could take 500.00 out of my everyday money whenever I felt like it.

Bluetooth speaker, sd card for phone, a nice prime rib, a good sized bag of psil… uh, I mean portabella mushrooms, an 18 year old bottle of scotch, 12 good beers and a diamond sharpening block for my wood splitting axe.

Now all I need is a cool, clear windless night, and a beautiful sunrise!

Thanks!
