I just found out today that I’ll be going on a trip with my Dad to Alaska for a week next month. I went ahead and purchased my ticket, so I’m commited now. We’re staying at his friend’s house near Kenai. Also, another friend (friend of my dad’s friend) owns a fishing boat. He’s offered to take us out on the ocean to do some halibut fishing. Whoo-hoo! I’m excited as hell about this trip!
(Some of y’all may be receiving some “gloat” pictures in your email mid-August. Keep your eyes open for them! ;))
That sounds like a wonderful trip. I’m a little envious – I’ve heard Alaska is Gorgeous! Make sure you take LOTS of pictures, please. And have a Wonderful time.
What an alureing tail! Just for the halibut I fish you would drop us a line. I’d fall for that hook, line & sinker. Don’t forget to tip your boat captain a fin, or he’ll get crabby and neter take you out again, so you should change your tuna on that one, I’d hate to think of you floundering out there.
