If I may, I present the word salad from Trump when pressed on whether he authorized the MOAB drop:

“Everybody knows exactly what happens, so — and what I do is I authorize my military,” Trump said. “We have the greatest military in the world, and they’ve done a job as usual, so we have given them total authorization, and that’s what they’re doing. And, frankly, that’s why they’ve been so successful lately.”

1. He really tap-danced, but it does sound like he did not authorize it.
2. It is apparently “his” military. Loser. It is the US military.
3. He uses what seems to be the royal “we”.

I note also that our military and generals appear to competent now, as opposed to before the election.
