I'm going to Vegas tonight, bay-bee!

I make it out every three months or so - I know many people go much more often - but I always get so excited right before I leave every time. Whoo hoo! Two nights of poker at the mirage and late night blackjack. And who knows? Maybe I’ll get to stand next to a real-live hooker at a craps table and chat like I did last time… Or maybe I’ll get in an argument with another moron in a wheelchair at a poker table! That’s the beauty of Vegas, baby, you can have whatever fun you want… Make your own fun.

I will admit though, that the last time I was there I got a lot of entertainment from watching the dopey Nascar legions maneuver their way through the casinos and live up to all of Jim Rome’s stereotypes. That was fun. They won’t be there this time though… :frowning:

Anybody got any bets they want me to make?

Whoo-hoo!

Have fun, Ignatius. Watch out for the dunces.

I do hope you aren’t going to attempt another trip on a SceniCruiser. You remember how traumatic the the trip to Baton Rouge was, don’t you? Of course, you do.

Good luck at the tables. I hope you find some theology and geometry.

Umm, wait a minute. What would Boethius think of the futility of gambling?

wow… you’d think that by living here I’d be having just nothing but fun wouldnt you? Well… the buffets are nice anyway.

I’ve got a journal of my visit to Vegas on my site. It has lots of fun experiences in it you might want to try:

I heartily recommend the Roller Coaster at New York New York.
