I'm gunna ask again, how do i make reasonable money quickly? With minimal experience?

In this thread old people get mad at “the young one” because he wants easy money. Shame on him.

Why do you feel you deserve easy money?

Holy shit, why don’t you rob a community college first? They can proof-read your hold-up note.

Seriously, get a sales job. This is the exact reason why most of the people I know who are in sales got into sales. Learn to sell cars or insurance or home improvements and go make 50k next year. If you are not very good at the job but willing to do the job you can expect to make that. I personally know several guys who make more money than the average doctor who are literally high school drop outs. You shouldn’t expect that right away (actually most people can’t hack it and are out of the business within 9 months) but if you can hang in there and learn to do it you can be pretty well off.

You have many options even if you don’t want to do any heavy lifting so to speak. You are the perfect age to work as an escort for wealthy businessmen. You would make a whole lot more than $12 an hour and some of them can help you land a posh day job as a security guard in an art gallery or something if they take a special liking to you. You would be an independent contractor in such a case but that means that you get to set your own hours and all expenses including fancy meals and even room service are covered by your client. The perks are that you get to meet lots of interesting new people, the hourly rate is outstanding and many of the people that use such services are quite powerful and can help you in the future as long as you demonstrate a good work ethic.

“I am holding a gub. Abt natural.”

Because i sit there and go through my post and fool-proof it on an online messaging board for a bunch of strangers to read.

Wait a second, i don’t. Kid.

Mr. Mooney?

Yes, Mrs. Carmichael?

I’m being robbed by Mushmouth from the Cosby kids!

Noice.

Or I see. Is this a hold up?

Yes. And he has a cold.

$13/hr ain’t shit, kid, but if that’s what makes you happy, go for it.

Last summer I paid a couple of hard low-bid (by far) workers to put a new roof on my house. They pocketed a grand a day, while your phlebotomy dream job gets you $104 per 8-hour shift minus taxes, but hey, you’re in A/C and paying off that student debt a drib and drab at a time, so that must be the job for you.

Or yeah, robbing people, no one suggested that. Great plan, except you are possibly too lazy and entitled to pull it off. You might end up in jail and score three squares a day with no effort, so double win for you!

(My bolding)
Well you certainly had that one covered.

Rather looks that way, doesn’t it?

No, Sweetpea, the old folks aren’t angry. Just amused that you would think that janitorial work and couch surfing would be considered good or easy money.

No, we’re getting mad because we’re telling you there is no such thing as easy money and you’re not listening.

No pit thread yet?

Overdue. No - because I’m lazy and want it given to me without work or risk.

No, actually, I’m laughing my ass off because I remember being your age and how hard it was to get my foot in the door, and the economy was a LOT better off back then. Sorry, kid, the world is as it is, not as you want it to be.

Let’s see: High school diploma, bad attitude, sense of entitlement…Sounds like small-town cop to me.

Maybe you can’t get need-based grants or scholarships, but you can get straight-up student loans and (if you’re a good student) merit-based scholarships. If you truly want to go to college, you absolutely can.
