So, after 7+ years of fertility struggles, miscarriages and just plain ol’ not getting pregnant, I am having surgery to remove a nasty fibroid that is impeding our progress on having a family. At least I know now what caused my miscarriages!!
Anyone else had a fibroid removed? Mine is 30% imbedded in the uterus, with 70% in the cavity. I’m having a vaginal laproscopy. What can I expect of recovery?
I’m nervous and scared, but I get a few days off work!!

I’ve had many abdominal surgeries and only one of them was laproscopic. There was very little discomfot involved in that one. I was very relieved! Just focus on the new hope that this surgery will bring into your life.
It is normal to be a little nervous before surgery, but it sounds like you’ve made a very good decision to get this behind you.
