I’ve got a couple of young saplings that are growing up next to the trailer, and I need to kill them. I tried chopping them down last year, but they’ve grown back bigger than ever this year. So how do I kill 'em? I don’t care if it kills the grass around them as well, I just want 'em dead. (Of course, I don’t want to poison myself in the process.)
Cut them down, and apply (brush) Ortho Brush-B-Gon on the stumps. Toxic to the plants, but avoids collateral damage. Wear rubber gloves
Brush-B-Gon works great on weed trees.
