Nope, didn’t make it.
I came up 7 lbs. short. I was doing fine the first half, then I had to go to home to see my family in the second half. And when you get fed at home, it’s hard to keep any kind of diet.
But I’m giving myself till June…

I didn’t lose ten pounds and I am so disgusted with myself. I have two friends who lost more than 30 pound each since December and I can’t get motivated to even lose ten. It’s like the first law of diet thermodynamics, weight cannot be lost or gained it can only attach itself to a different person.
Weigh in last night: 7.21678 arroba - equivalent to 183 pounds; three pounds down this week, 16 pounds down in total.
I’m still at 160, so I only lost 6 lbs. Oh well, a start.
Congrats to all of you!
Did not weigh in yesterday cause I didn’t get back from my trip to NYC until 130 am. BUT . . .
126
This is not quite ten pounds but I am feeling pretty good about it, especially considering the knishes, artfully constructed pastrami sandwiches, bagels, Thai noodles, and quite a lot of booze consumed on said trip. (OTOH I walked about 5 miles per day more than normal, owing to my horrible sense of direction, and did so at a fairly fast clip. Hmmm…)
I only lost 5–but I’m breastfeeding and doing a search on some sites, it said sometimes it doesn’t start coming off until nursing has ceased. So oh well–but at least I’ve started a very healthy regimen of daily run/walking and eating very healthy. The weight hasn’t gone down as much as I would like but I have noticed the firming up of what was once flab.
Thanks for this thread!
And congrats to all who lost weight.
