I haven’t been posting after my initial sign-in on page one because after that first week, I hadn’t been walking with my girlfriend as planned and I had gained about a pound and half from the week before and of course drama and taxes got to me.
Well, I don’t know if it’s the stress or water retention or what, but I somehow managed to drop 7 1/2 lbs since then. woo-hoo, I guess?
Weigh in as of last (Friday) night: 5,624.55 Baht, equivalent to 186 pounds; 3 pounds down on last week; 13 pounds down in total. I’m doing an increasing number of situps each day now and I have an almost flat stomach.
I’m still at 160 . I haven’t lost anymore–I’m stagnent. But, I haven’t gained any either
, so, I’m OK. My bike’s been broken for a week and change, but should be fixed tomorrow. I guess diet isn’t everything–excersise will hopefully help next week.
Continued good luck to everyone, ~S
Wellllllllll
I only lost 2 pounds so far, but i’ve lost almost 2" on my waist. Losing inches on your waist is more important in my view, but i haven’t lost any real ‘weight’ yet.
Stuck at 207. I think my total lack of effort is to blame
I’m still at 283. I’ve not really cared this week. At least I’ve plateaued and not gained.
I got me one of them faincy scales today that measures body fat too. I think the next goal will be to lose some of that. Why?
196 -> 189. One week to lose the last three. Weee!
Could not stay online long enough to post yesterday. @#$%&*!
Scales at 130. !@#$%&! on that too!
So I have lost 2.5, or 4.0 if you count losing the 1.5 (or so) I initially gained after saying I’d lose 10. Sure, I’d like to think it was replacing fat with muscle but . . . I don’t think so.
Anybody got anything good for flabby arms? (I mean exercises, not long sleeves.)
Weigh-in today, 4/25: 351. Down 13 total this month, blown 10 away.
Well, I am back on track, I think I may have lost three “real” pounds so far. I like the body fat measure scale, as your percentage of body fat gives more meaningful results health-wise, then just body wieght. I am trying to lose ten pounds, but I need to lose body fat, not muscle.
Still 191 as of this weekend. I am getting much stronger with the weight training – in fact I’m getting close to being back where I was last summer before I got lazy.
But the pounds ain’t moving. Still, I’ll take the muscle definition.
Well, I didn’t quite make it. I got down to 188, 2 lbs short. That’s ok, I’ve been lifting and have gained some muscle mass so I’m pretty sure my BMI is down.
How’d everybody else do?
Not very well, I’m afraid. I got way off track when my mother came to visit. I wasted a week doing stuff to get ready for her instead of exercising. Then I wasted the week she was here hanging out with her instead of exercising. (Not that time spent with mom is a waste. I mean time I should have spent working out wasn’t used that way.) Anyway, now that she’s gone home, I’ve gotten so far off track I’m not motivated to start exercising again.
So, during the entire month of April, I may have only lost the 4 pounds, but it could be that I lost nothing and just had accurate scale readings at the doctor’s office.
I’m still watching what I eat and am really, really, really sick of salad.
I’m going for another 10 pounds in May.
Final weight: 204. Exactly where I was at the begining of the month.
I lost 15 pounds this month. So, down to 350, for a total of 61 lost since I started.
I lost about 2" on my waist but my weight stayed the same up until a week ago. Then i lost about 4.5 lbs in a week in a half for some reason. So im 4.5 lbs down but going by waist size changes i’d say i lost about 9 lbs of fat overall.
Didn’t even come close - however I’m willing to try again in May.
According to the scale, I’ve lost six lbs this week, going from 283 to 277. I’m not sure I believe it but I’ll take it.
Overall, I’ve lost 13 lbs this month.
I’m still bouncing around at 180-181. I’ve been cutting back on the fat and watching the calories, but this plateau is really pissing me off.
I do think I’m losing inches, though, because some new pants I bought that were ever-so-slightly tight - aren’t so tight any more.
Down to 205 pounds, that’s 5 pounds lost total. Not bad considering all I did was stop cramming food down my gullet all day long. If I can lose another 5 pounds in May then hold steady at 200 I’ll be quite happy.
