I can do without one this year, although I’d rather get one – having had a really bad case of the flu years back, I will do just about anything to avoid a repeat; death really would have been preferable – and my 84-year-old mother lucked into one, but my sister with Parkinson’s hasn’t found anywhere to get one yet. And craziest of all: Papa Tiger works on the grounds of a big Army hospital and is up in patient areas regularly, and yet there is not one single flu shot available for hospital staff till, they’re being told, January.
Yet another example of how well our returning injured soldiers from Iraq are being treated, the government couldn’t even find flu shots for people taking care of them. :rolleyes:
