I'm not giving up my seat

Haha. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wouldn’t you feel sheepish if I were?

Yes or no question… were 3D glasses involved in the viewing of this movie? Whether or not there were, would you feel that would be a mitigating factor with this kind of situation? I can tell you that I’ve sat in the front 5 rows for a 3D movie (Avatar, 3rd row, I believe) and it sucked balls.

What, no name calling?

I am disappointed in you mean old lady. Everyone knows that the height of etiquette is calling people dickeads and assholes.

Hmm. Perhaps others were right, and you did get a well-deserved mod warning.

Dont worry, it’s obvious that you aren’t.

I’m taking the over, btw. I’d also like a cite for the mod warning.

It was me wondering, not a declaration. Several people thought you may get one.

Why don’t you call them dickeads or something?

Fun fact… the word “warning” has only been used 3 (now 4) times in this entire thread. Once by Idle Thoughts warning people to dial things back while it was still in IMHO, and then the two posts by the PO and LOM that precede this one.

Odd. Dickhead over there told me that I “did get a well-deserved mod warning.” (5 times.) If she keeps saying things that are provably untrue, she might lose some credibility.

To me, this thread looks more like:
step 1) x level rude
step 2) y level rude
step 3) z level rude

Total rudeness = x + y + z = 1
Assign your values for x, y, z

Then, people have decided that anyone who assigns different values should be called names because they are evil, no evil, no Eviler, no Darth Vader level evil, until the butthurt meter explodes.

I’d post my ratings, but then somebody’s bound to go all “You’re worse than Hitler” on my ass.

[sub]Awwww fuck. I went and Godwinized this shit again.[/sub]

ETA:

Too late! I think that was lost about page… ummm… one.

  1. Ducca used it twice but only counted it once.

Now that we know that mademoiselle writes her hypotheticals as declarative statements, we can go back and read her OP for what she thought it was - an elaborate bit of wondering.

I first read “provably” as probably (damned dyslexia of mine) and it still made just as much sense.

He’s such a DuccaHead.

Look up the meaning of perhaps.

Yeah, that’s not how english works.

Here you go, MOL. I got this from those dickheads over at Oxford.

Bet he has brown eyes, too!

IKR? “Well the word ‘perhaps’ appeared in the sentence, so…”

You’re one to criticize. What, not going to admit that you read it wrong?

I am shocked. With your superior social graces, and all.

We know what perhaps means.

Apparently it equals a definitive statement in MOL’s world.
