I'm Not Lovin' the IRS right now.......

The Nazi regime is alive and thriving in the U.S…
Tax’ed up the rectum and no relief in sight. Hide little children, the Stormtroopers will come and take mommy & daddy away. Amerika’s cancer within, Bush’s SS.

Wow. Even I never thought I see someone claim that we’re living under fascism because… the IRS exists. Y’know, like it has for most of the last century.

Try not to post when drunk.

I hear they have decaf coffee now that’s just as yummy as the regular stuff. Just sayin’.

Bush created the IRS? I knew it!

P.S. I somehow managed to get $600 back. I’ll remember your persecuted ass while I’m partying down on my refund $$ :stuck_out_tongue:

Not Drunk, just see’n Red. Taxes have gone-up since last century, alot of undeserving people to support ( not our seniors, they beleive the gov has turned it’s back on them) AND The War Machine Rolls-On…

The problem’s plain to see: too much in federal fees.
Taxes to save our lives. Taxes dehumanize.

I have it on good authority that Bush has lowered and will continue to lower taxes. That’s what his mouthpieces keep saying, anyways.

-Joe

And what in the blue bloody fuck does the IRS have to do with any of that? The IRS does not make foreign - or even domestic - policy.

I got back $841. I was thinking of sending a plate of cookies to the Philadelphia IRS office, actually…

I’d be unhapy about rectal taxation as well, we got a poll tax in UK some time back but a poo tax sounds even worse. Especially iif you get a refund through the post.

I believe he is suggesting that if there were no wars on, the goverment would need less money so taxes would be lowered. It could also be a general attitude towards on area of government spreading into areas that he also finds to be disagreeable.

Of course, it could also be a new conspiracy. YMMV.

I think you’re on to something here. Let’s say, for the moment, that my mileage does indeed vary. What kinda evidence can we dig up (or manufacture, if that proves either necessary or more amusing) that the IRS is fomenting war(s) as a ruse to increase federal taxes and thus insure perpetuation of their own bureaucratic sinecures?

Elementary my dear UncleBeer. The government needs more money to run a war. This means that more money needs to be collected in the form of taxes. This means the IRS needs more staff to handle the amount of taxes coming in. More staff means more people underneath the underhanded beings truly responsible for the evils of the world: mid level managers. These desperate beings are so low in self esteem that they would start a war simply to have more people to boss around.

How’s that?

Truly, fuck the IRS. They did away with Telefile this year. They said I could file online, but didn’t have their own software to do so. I had to hunt down software to use, and the first thing I found didn’t work at all. The second one did, but it was in this crazy 6 point serif font. Took me 45 minutes to do my taxes, as opposed to the usual 15.

Well my mom and sister both got promotions and raises recently that money had to come from somewhere…guess it was you.

Here’s a solution for you:

  1. Name a few countries where you think you’d be taxed less for your current level of income

  2. Compare their level of government services and quality of life with your own

  3. If you like what you see, move there (and PROFIT!)

I lived in France for ten years. Friend, if you’ve never known the joys of 20% Value Added Tax, or paid the government for the privelege of owning a TV, you have no clue what the term “tax burden” means.

Me, I ended up owing 159 bucks to the IRS for last year and I’ve got no particular problem with that. I prefer paying them a bit right at the deadline over having them hold some of my money for a year then give it back to me without interest.

And once again, I pop into a thread about taxes just to post my sig. (Yes, I know taxes are due April 17 this year, but bear with me.)

Heheheheh. Pole. Post. Huhuhuhuh.

I just found out from my accountant that you have to claim last years refund as this years income. So, you pay income tax on it 2x.
What a rip-off.

Yep. That’s standard.

Um, no, that is not the case. Think about it.
