I’m paying bills and whatnot tonight, which means using Quicken, which is on my husband’s computer. My husband has a to-do list hanging next to his computer. Under “Work” it lists five projects he’s working on for his publishing business. Under “Personal”, #3 is his D&D game, #2 is his Amber game (which is as it should be) and #1 is my name.
:dubious:
I’m extremely curious what that means.
Does he have something particular in mind?
Or am I so high-maintainance that I require my very own to-do entry?
Teasing aside, don’t look for trouble where there’s only a very good thing. I’d say it’s his way of letting both of you know that you are the most important person in his life, and that nothing else is as important.
Podkayne, I think I’ve seen your picture in some thread or another, and if my memory is correct, were I Mr. Podkayne you would be #'s 1, 2, & 3 on my ‘to do’ list.
As I recall, number one and number two weren’t necessarily things to which one aspires!
/slight hijack/
A few years ago, my wife left me a to-do list consisting of “mow the lawn” and “till the garden” and such. She ended the list with “Love, GrizzWife”.
She left to do some errands. I promptly fell asleep on the sofa.
I was startled awake when she returned. I made a big deal about running up to her and giving a big hug and kiss; then went to the list and crossed off “Love GrizzWife”.
Well… it kept me out of trouble for not completing anything else.
When I have a name on my to-do list, it generally means contact, either about something specific I’ll remember, or just generally to catch up. This probably doesn’t apply to someone you see every day. So, either something specific, or just to remind him to always speak to you each day.
Your husband has to put you on a list to remember to “do” you?
Let us know what he says…or, you could make up your own to-do list, you know 1)Buy candles 2)wash negligee 3)Hire babysitter 4)Mr. Podkayne and see what he does.
