It shows how desperate and idiotic politicians can be. If global temperatures, and especially US temperatures, were actually rising according to global warming theory, it would be a different story. For example, in regards to looking at the US data, as well as the global trends, winters for most of the US are trending colder. Depending on the region, the trends can be quite long.
Atlanta shows a cooling trend for Jan from 1986, but none for December. This is the asymmetric change mentioned early on. Even so the winter trend for Atlanta (and Georgia) is cooling, for a thirty year trend period.

Now that isn’t what global warming theory predicts. Not at all, in fact, it can’t predict this. You can listen to people talk about how warmer means more snow, but global warming does not predict the all time low temperatures to be broken. For an entire month. Much less the bigger picture.
But the warmist tries to say “that means nothing, cause it warmer globally”, which is patent nonsense, as the data shows. They just ignore this, because to see it would make their head explode. Or even worse, they might have to think.
