I'm sick of this Global Warming!

<sarcasm mode>
Whatever you say, climate twoofer.

While I won the bet for this winter in the northeast, and north central, mother nature showed how hard is actually is to predict everything. Now it looks like I am going to lose for March. (I predicted warm based on the twenty yer trend, despite the last two years showing drastic cooling) I should have stuck to my guns using the Tmin as predictor. But fuck me, it could still get unusually warm and bring the average up.

The last three highs were followed by a one two three warm again pattern. I still predict a warm March for the south, based on trends,

I still think the West will turn cool and wet, but it’s just what the trend might lead one to guess at.
Hey, at least now in a month somebody will be ale to harp on how wrong I was about something. Unless I’m right, in which case it won’t be mentioned.

It depends, but usually snowfall leads to snow cover. It certainly isn’t the other way around. Lack of snowfall never leads to more snow cover.

Heavy snow also usually leads to longer snow cover, but not always. Heavy rain after a snowfall can wipe out the snow cover. If precipitation increased, and temperatures increased, more rain and less snow will lead to far less snow cover.

It’s why decreasing snow cover is a key indicator of a warming climate. skepticalscience blog is not wrong about that. And looking at the GLOBAL temps and GLOBAL snow cover data clearly shows warmer is directly connected to LESS snow cover annually.

If you actually thought that was the case, instead of your trolling, you would counter with data, facts and evidence, anything really, instead of just saying something you made up.

Others already have, which you’ve ignored or hand waved away and otherwise persisted with your mendacious blather.

Like a twoofer. A climate twoofer.

So you are sort of an idiot of some kind.

Oh, so it’s about politics. The absolute curse of actual science. Religion and politics.

Shame, because aside from the politics and religion, climate and weather are fascinating subjects to study.

No, which makes you a liar, who is trolling.

You are an idiot. But please, don’t stop posting, you serve as an example. Of what not to aspire to.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, researchers document and argue for a well known effect, which actually really does exist, and changes the climate.

More urban heat; less summer fog, on California coast - GeoSpace - AGU Blogosphere

Yes, people really are changing the world, there’s just so many of us, and so much concrete and deforestation.

No surprise to anyone who has been paying attention. Large urban areas fuck up the natural order of weather and climate. You really were surprised by this?

What? That’s all you got out of your study? Local heating effects change the weather, and you think it’s global warming causing the change?

I’m sick of this global warming.

Let’s re-run something from the past, shall we?

The more technical matters involving changes to the absorption/emission spectrum of CO2 at high altitudes, as well as the issue of high atmospheric CO2 reducing the infrared forcing from solar changes, as well as changes in atmospheric chemistry on the upper stratosphere, cloud top heating and drastic changes to the hydrological cycle, ocean meridian overturning, and especially the … ah but fuck it, we still have idiots who think water vapor only has a positive feedback effect, and any increase in WV means more heating.

How stupid are all these experts to not factor in snow?

<sarcasm mode>
Whatever you say, climate twoofer.

Actually, not.

What it does is make me someone who is willing to call a spade a spade: I couldn’t care less whether you respond or not. What I care about most is helping reinforce to casual thread passers-by that you’re a fucking industry shill who is knowingly sowing obfuscation and confusion.

Anyone who reads the thread with a little care can see that you’ve been solidly rebutted dozens of times. And that you don’t actually hold a position; you’re just trying to baffle with bullshit, to plant an unjustified seed of doubt where little or none exists in the actual science. In short, to do what you can to keep the environmentally exploitative profit mongering going in the oil/coal industry you represent. My guess is you post similar blather in numerous other message boards as well.

You really are no different at all from the lead gasoline and cigarette shills of past decades.

OMG you idiot troll, seriously?

This is why I think you are actually trolling, nobody with a brain would even think for one moment, one fucking microsecond, that I “don’t actually hold a position”. I never shut the fuck up about it, I even started a GD thread about it, it’s fucking in over 500 posts in this topic alone. I just posted it once again.

Yet your argument is “you don’t actually hold a position”, and at the same time “you’ve been solidly rebutted dozens of times”, which makes no sense at all.

You are either actually a real idiot, or are trolling.

The climate twoofer is still playing games.

Says the idiot troll.

I wonder, what did Cecil ever say about GW?

I forgot all about that idiot claim. It was in response to my using irony to make a point. Fuckheads don’t understand irony, or they pretend not to, because it makes a point they “don’t like”, which is hilarious.

When I type out “No, but it’s effective at getting the point across”, I don’t actually mean that, since nothing is going to get through somebodies head if they have already made up their mind. It’s almost sarcasm, but it’s actually an ironic statement. Most people have no problem figuring this out, but warmist fuckheads will actually pretend not to get it, and then try and claim “you are saying something that contradicts what you said before hurr durr”. Yes you dumbass, it’s called irony.

The point is obvious, but fuckheads can’t grasp obvious. While the statement was a general observation about people and belief systems, and how they prevent learning, it was taken as literal, and we see a fuckhead reaction.

It’s what fuckheads do. They can’t argue, so they act like it’s all somebodies else’s “fault”, and they get personal.

It’s pathetic actually. But attempting to educate a fuckhead is a lost cause. You know in your heart this is true.

And thanks for that edit, I was getting ready to ask you what you meant.
