I'm tall - and need shirts that fit!

I’m a tall woman, about 5’11" and while I can usually find pants that are long enough (more & more brands have 34" or 36" inseams now, luckily), I am having a harder and harder time finding tops that are long enough!

Whether I try on sweaters, tshirts, sweatshirts, casual knit shirts, or even jackets, none are long enough in the body, and never long enough in the sleeves!

Can anyone recommend any online stores (Canadian or US) that sell tops that are reasonably priced, with long sleeves, and long in the body! The ones I’ve found through google have remarkably dowdy clothes. :frowning:

The outfits shown aren’t what I’d call skimpy-sexy, but I wouldn’t exactly put them in the dowdy column, either.

I think the Gap.com now sells tops in their ‘tall’ size along with their much loved by me xlong tall pants. But I have not bought a ‘tall’ shirt from them so have no first hand experience. But you can check the site out if you want.

Yep that is the only one I’ve found that’s half decent but they don’t have much of a selection!

Marks and Spencer do men’s shirts that are 2" longer, both in sleeve and body, but I haven’t checked the women’s section!

Yeah not bad, but I cannot pay $135 for a top! Thanks anyways…

I have a Banana Republic tall shirt and I really like it. It does stay tucked in, and the sleeves are long enough. They also have two different cuts of shirts; fitted and tailored. Tailored is a little roomier in the bust.

The Gap also has tall shirts, but I don’t know how they fit. I can’t order one until I get paid on Friday.
