But I did this to myself, and I’m looking forward to all of it.
My job requires some travel. Next week is one such trip, this one being out of the country, to, er, Central America.
I’m thinking, cool, I get to go on this trip work hard, yeah, but have some fun too I hope.
That was, until I saw travelocity yesterday. Tickets to DC(where a couple of great friends live) were $108, a lower price than I’ve seen in a long time. So, I talk to them about work schedules, and it turns out that the weekend of the 19th is the best as far as them not having to work goes.
So, on Friday the 19th, I wake up in Central America. Get on a plane, go to Miami. Get on another plane, go to Atlanta, and then get on another plane and go to DC. :eek:
If the temperature difference doesn’t kill me, it’ll be a fantastic week. And I can’t wait for it to start.
I just hope I make all my flight connections, and don’t get delayed anywhere. But I have an hour and a half between Atlanta arrival and departure, so hopefully, I’ll be fine. Oh, and these are all Delta flights. Being a bit risky, eh?
