While I’m sure, Mr. Pink, Caudle, and King, that you truly believe that someone has been wronged, your portrayal of the situation is inaccurate. While it’s true that Saint was in the right to let it be known that he/she is on a public terminal, it really is the sort of thing that’s better left to E-mail. And while I’m sure that you truly believe that you’re addressing new points when you accuse the mods of “lying”, let me assure you… those types of baseless accusations are hardly new to the boards. Certain types have been making those claims for a long time.
Now, if you really want us to take you seriously when you launch attacks against the Board Administration, there’re two things you have to do first… A: Put it in the appropriate forum (as Techchick already pointed out, that would be the BBQ Pit), and B: Provide some links to some evidence. After all, if there truly is something to be addressed, it’d be nice to have some proof. Thanks.

richman: Since you’ve come back from your Big Stomping Exit, perhaps you’d like to tell me where I’ve ever written “distortions” about you or your fight with Tuba. If you can’t–and you can’t, since I haven’t–then it would be you yourself making distortions, now wouldn’t it?
But I’ll give you this–I spent a good 10 minutes laughing at your “singing tomatoes” line. You are definitely one of the more entertaining ATMB gnats. (There, now don’t say I never said anything almost nice about you.)

They were about your trollish behavior in your post just above. I have done enough research sorting through TubaDiva’s accusations. I’m not about to track everybody who supports her without checking her “timeline”.:wally

If you want to tee off on anybody that works on this site, the appropriate forum for that is The Pit. NOT About This Message Board.
For the greater majority of people that use this board, the subject of how they get to us is of no concern. We don’t know and it doesn’t matter. However, when someone does something that is in violation of our message board rules or otherwise acts like a jerk, then much about them becomes of interest to us. Why? Because we want your message board experience to be a good one and that means that we’re vigilant about jerks, we don’t want them around.
One of the things we’ve had real problems with is jerks that not only make things miserable here for others but who return again and again under multiple/duplicate screen names. This makes us naturally suspicious of situations that look like more than one user is posting here from the same place.
We have many people that share resources: computers, phone lines, etc., and all of them manage to post here with no troubles. We also have people who get to us through public terminals and they too have no problems. The use of public terminals became an issue when richman (who was an innocent party) happened to use the same public terminal as several trolls we had as unwelcome guests a while back.
Richman did not understand what I was asking about and I didn’t understand why he wasn’t answering me. Between all that misunderstanding is a ton of miscommunication. But I hope that’s resolved now.
As for why a latecomer to the board might look at old posts by people we have banned and not see the problem, be aware that some of their handiwork is deleted from the board. The post might have been unsuitable for this board, or had links to unsafe or unsavory places in them. Sometimes we simply delete them because we don’t want to give these people the attention they crave. So someone coming in after the fact would have no clue as to what we did and why we did it. Hopefully you’ll understand that we take these measures in the interest of your positive message board experience. If you can’t see that and choose to believe that we moderate to your disatisfaction, perhaps this board is not the place for you.
