He’s very handsome, sexy.
He’s nice to me.
He has never hit me.
He has never even raised his voice to me.
He is a wonderful provider.
He has supported and encouraged me to be at home with the kids full time, as we both felt it was best for them until they were all in school.
He thinks I am funny, and laughs at all my jokes.
He helps around the house.
He wants me to buy anything I want. ( well, within reason! )
He is a great father, very involved in the kids’ lives and activities.
He loves to see me smile.

I could go on and on, but I don’t want to brag ( wink wink )

MY guy is the best for all the reasons stated above, well except the dog part.

He tells me he loves me no less than 5 times a day, everyday.

He is a wonderful poet.

He is terribly romantic.

He cooks like a gourmet chef.

He is absolutely gorgeous.

He is intelligent.

He has good taste, most of the time.

Most importantly, I simply know he loves me, as sure as I know I love him. [Group gush] Awwwww.

Oh, I have to stop, he knows he’s the cat’s meow to me.

I was going to say that you are VERY lucky ladies, until I realized that you deserve to have a man like that. And I am sure that luck has nothing to do with it. Most certainly, it takes alot of work and love and committment to make this happen. On both person’s parts.

So, lets just say that both the ladies who posted AND the men they talked about are wondrous and joyous examples of how it should be in a relationship.

Hope once again springs eternal! It CAN be done! I have EVIDENCE!

When I met my future husband, his mother was in the last stages of cancer. One night we were sitting in the living room when she came down, in obvious agony, and asked Tim to take her to the emergency room.

I have an image of him carrying her 90 pound body out to the car and putting her very gently in the passenger seat. He lifted weights at the time and I was struck by how big and capable he was and how tiny and fragile she was. She was burrowing her head into his chest and trying to battle the pain silently. He had set his jaw and was trying very hard to be stoic and brave. I was in the doorway watching them leave and he turned to me and asked, “Will you meet me at the emergency room?” and his mouth was quivering. And my heart broke for the both of them.

I knew then that I’d follow him ANYwhere. And I have never regretted it.

I am so good.

I don’t like my wife’s family.

I love my wife very much.

I play with the kids when I damn well want to.

I scream at my wife until she does what I want.

Two of my the children work, so the can help support my drug habit.

I steal money from my wife’s purse and then blame it on the kids.

I call my wife’s place of work and tell her employer to kiss my ass…and then blame it on the kids.
I’m so clever

Of course, I’m kidding.

Except for loving my wife and not liking her family. (They abused her emotionally)

He thinks i am beautify, sexy, smart, funny and wise.

He does the housework.

He does the laundry.

He makes dinner.

His kisses make me swoon.

He is nearly as adventurous in bed as I am :slight_smile:

He knows how to please me.

We enjoy spending lots of time together.

He listens, usually.

He lets me pic out most of his clothes :slight_smile:

He shares my favorite color.

He is visibly delighted when i do nice things for him.

He scratches my ack just right whenever I want, even in the middle of the night.

He can say the words, “I am sorry, I was wrong.” without choking on them. (So can i, that helps i am sure)

He doesn’t care for sports generally, but likes to watch figure skating and gymnastics.

Although he eats lunch at his job as it is provided, he sees that I have lunch at work every day. He brings me lunch quite often, but doesn’t mind if I make other plans.

He performs miracles daily. The doctors have said there is no way he can walk unassisted. He does.

I helped him through college. When it came my turn to go, he worked to support me and supported me in everyway I asked. It meant delaying his career for 5 years too. Today we both have jobs doing what we like to do.

He deals better with my family than I do.

My husband paints my fingernails and toenails.
Loves to.

And the #1 reason why my husband is the best is :

After 17 years together, the death of a parent, a newborn child, friends and family,
all our ups and downs,
my moods and difficult times,
the job changes and stress,
raising 3 kids together,
and working at keeping our marriage happy…

he has been by my side, wiping my tears, listening and enjoying my laughs, sharing my troubles, and has always loved me unconditionally. He’s my best friend.

He loves me back
He is the most intelligent person I know and he thinks the same about me

He tells me he loves me every time we talk on the phone and every time (practically) we have to part company
He tells me he loves me whenever it pops into his head

He knows what to do when I am angry with him to make me feel better

Ya…just kidding.

My wife and I have a good relationship. My kids and I have a very good relationship. I beg them to play games with me at times. Dad’s bored…quick lets get out of the house!! They make me laugh every day. I love my family very much and I tell them as often as I can. Parents bury their kids way too often. I couldn’t even imagine doing that. I’m sure I’d lose my mind with grief.

Last night I surprised my wife with a dishwasher.

Ah ya…racking up the points!!

I could be doing more…and I think I’ll start now.

I have the perfect husband.

He voluntarily changes the cat boxes, cleans the bathroom, folds laundry, and keeps his clothes neatly put away.

He knows how to order wine in a restaurant.

He always supports me in public, even if he disagrees with me in private.

He plays the harp, performs Shakespeare, and sings.

He also shoots, flys helicopters, does mrtial arts, and fences sabre and broadsword.

After 10 years of marriage, he’s still horny all the time.

There’s this amazing thing he does with his tongue…

And the number one reason I knew he was the man for me right away -

Early on in our relationship when he was staying the night at my place, he used the bathroom and left the seat up. Joking, I told him that I would never marry anyone who left the seat up. He said “Really?”, and in eleven years together has never failed to lower it.
