IMHO

Dude! This totally rocks! Since there’s a new room, whenever a newbie comes in here, we can be like “ha! You think you have it hard now, eh? Back in my day we had to post our opinions in MPSIMS where good old euty- eutychus55, now there was a good admin- would often as not move em to great debates…that was back when we had to turn a crank to use the internet!”

Well, we used to have to have the Internet READ to us byte by byte by our great grandmother. Then we would have to compile the code ourselves and hope to God-Almighty that there were no errors. Aftwards, we would eat a handful of cold grovel, go down to work in the mill for tuppence a week, and when we got home, our parents would slice us in two with a bread knife!

Ha!!! When I first got on the internet, the only service provider available was “The 13 Colonies On-line”, and all email was done via Pony Express.

Let me tell you, after Great Grandmother was done reading the Internet to us, we would connect to an IRC chat via smoke signal with no error correction at 1/2 bit per day if we were lucky!
