Every time I see “IMHO” I think of “Imhotep”, the evil egyptian priest from “The Mummy”… that was a pretty cool movie.
Imhotep is the name of a real Egyptian priest from way back (can’t recall from where – I’ll kick myself later when I do.) His name was “lifted” to give to the character in the original movie “The Mummy”. In subsequent films, for some reason, the mummy’s name was changed to “Kharis” (In “Abbot and Costello meet the Mummy” it was further changed to “Khlaris”.)
I don’t know why I remember this stuff, but it’s lodged in my skull. It got me a trivia contest T-shirt once, so it’s not COMPLETELY useless.
Calm down, Cal, and I’ll brew ya up some nice tanna leaves.
Three lumps, or nine?
Imhotep (2700 BC), Egyptian architect to Pharaoh Djoser; later became legendary; regarded as magician and astronomer; skilled in medicine
