Impeach Clinton

I know someone who actually talked to him once. Now if I can just remember who that someone was I will get back to you all.

But I have always just taken him as your basic wacko. But he is clean, polite, and well dressed. All the things I look for in a wacko.

I remember when he got the new sign you see in that picture (about 18 months ago). I almost went up to him to congratulate him on it, his last one was hand-written and much more whacko (as I mentioned it requested the impeachment of Washington, Jefferson, Ford and Clinton - with occasional additions and deletions). Since he got the new sign it has been constant except for the one word.

Soviets kidnapped the real Al Gore and replaced him with a look-alike spy robot.

About what? What good socialist would not be excited about a Soviet Spy Robot? (Or good Communist for that matter).

Damn, tradesilicon, every time I’ve just begun to give you the benefit of the doubt that you’re not really a knucklehead, you show back up.

Yes, Connor, he was. Clinton is the only elected president we have had that has been impeached, yet he still survives in office. Amazing system we have, eh?

Wrong - Andrew Johnson was impeached in 1868 (twice, actually), and also squeaked by with one vote without getting removed from office. Granted, Johnson wasn’t elected - as Vice President, he succeeded Abraham Lincoln after his assasination.

And further:

So both Jackson and Clinton were accused (i.e., impeachment proceedings were brought against them), but neither was convicted (i.e., removed from office). Nixon was smart enough to quit before the articles of impeachment were actually voted on. (I’m fairly certain I’m correct here based on what I recall from the proceedings against Clinton - somebody correct me if I’m wrong.)
