I finally found a picture of the man who inspired my sig. Rasa was kind enough to help me earlier, but unfortunately her friend’s site was fucked over by it’s evil corporate overlords (or something like that). But, dietrologica came through, and for that has my eternal thanks. So does Rasa, for coming through earlier. So now, you can all marvel at the man who is the worlds greatest protester.

I have been watching that guy for a couple of years now and have been known to follow him around trying to get ahead of him so I can see what the sign says.
The problem is, once you start following him it is kind of hypnotic. He has a very distinct gait and watching his umbrella bounce off of his hip. Your eyes just kind of glaze over and next thing you know it is three blocks later.
His message has really simplified, though. When I first saw him the sign said: “Impeach Washington, Jefferson, Ford, Clinton”. I mean, I can understand the last three, but can’t we just let Washington rest in peace?
I’m certainly willing to be wooshed here, but…

Somebody in Chicago (I’m not there anymore so I can’t) needs to get a picture of the guy who hangs around down by Water Tower with the big sign about how the Soviets kidnapped the real Al Gore and replaced him with a look-alike spy robot.
Yeah, I see this guy sometimes on my way to client sites. I’ve never had the time to stop and ask him exactly what he’s protesting though. Have any of you stopped him to ask what his sign means?
