Judging by taste, I would guess the Coke in Viet Nam uses real sugar too. I agree that it tastes much better that way.
I keep hearing about Coke being imported from Colombia. For some reason the government seems keen to stop it though, as if it’s their business! I bet it has real sugar.

So I always accepted the cane syrup=foreign coke story. Hell, I even posted here on it. Then, yesterday, I actually looked at the ingredients for mexican coke. yep. High fructose corn syrup. Not a mention of cane syrup anywhere on it. So what gives. Is it just a placebo affect. Is there any coke from Mexico with cane syrup? Why the hell am I paying $.50 more a bottle for this shit. Is it just a clever marketing ploy?
