So then I take it that the members appreciate the tune rather than take offense? This info will help me when I am on a job where they may be present and may consider playing it (I’m an A/V guy).

Well, it’s one of those things. If you’re a union guy, and you play it for others in a small quiet group, it’s kinda funny. Played loud over the house mains by a non-union guy? Not so funny, possibly insulting. If you don’t know, don’t. Ya know what I’m sayin’?
I also asked this several years ago and didn’t get an answer.
In the mid 90s there was a song whose melody was Celtic music with at least a fiddle and possibly other celtic instruments, but which had a hip-hop/dance beat behind it. The only lyrics were “feeeeever” repeated several times in the song. Obviously searching on “celtic fever” and “celtic hip-hop” and “celtic dance” do not turn up anything (useful, that is. Some of the hits are good music, but not what I am searching for). Anyone remember this tune?

I came here seeking help from the awesome Snowboarder Bo in finding more information on a song I heard a few years ago. Probably the quickest way to bring you up-to-date on my quest is to suggest entering, in quotes, the lyrics “Happy Anniversary to the one that got away” in Google’s search window. Besides this thread, obviously, the only link should still be my previous SDMB thread on the matter.
And, as an aside to TruCelt and anyone else who might be wondering about that list I found in my mailbox, I mailed it to grocerylists.org but it hasn’t been displayed yet.
