I heard they were going to get the ushers to watch the cinema audience to make sure there was no pirating of the film.
I used to work as an usher. Since it is a minimum wage job, not a great choice to direct them to stop pirating.

I think having teenagers working for minimum wage perform duties related to security is a little ambitious.

Besides that, pirated movies are crap. Why bother?

Not sure what good such a camera would do, unless there were assigned seats and ID check at the door.
