Some also seem to keep forgetting that there were negotiations with Russia, which were characterized by Russia breaking the ceasefires and potentially poisoning delegation members.

All these are idiotic and a stack of lies, but the third is especially bizarre. You can find PICTURES, online, of the negotiations Ukraine and Russia had early in the war. You can look up the positions of the two parties, and you can plainly see Russia wasn’t interested in real negotiations. All of this is a public record.
Also forgetting Ukraine seemed to do better than Russia there too. Succeeding in assasinating one of their own negotiators.

Here, I’ll help with the propaganda. The war is clearly a defensive one on the part of the Russians, why else would everyone’s favorite Russian neo-nazi PMC be building defensive lines inside (actual) Russian territory? Wagner PMC now builds anti-tank fortifications in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
But now it is being built not only in the occupied territories, but also in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast, as one of the leaders of Wagner PMC Andrey Bogatov told on camera in a video showing the placement of concrete anti-tank pyramids in what was said to be Belgorod Oblast.
Of course, given the rampant corruption in the Russian kleptocracy, alternate explanations have arisen, bolding mine:

Also, as we can see, the russians use civilian equipment and civilian contractors for the works. Moreover, the stability of such a defense directly depends on its depth and echeloning. Even the anti-tank blocks, the so-called “dragon’s teeth” in the West, require a concrete foundation underneath them.

Putin’s rationale (actually, his excuse) for taking over Ukraine this time was to “save the Urkainians from their Nazi government”. He didn’t pull that nonsense when he attacked and occupied the Crimea. Now he’s doing it because he knows how reviled Nazis are by decent people and decent governments. But since the president of Ukraine is Jewish, that’s an incredibly offensive charge to level. Of course there’s no evidence for anything that Putin says, and definitely not for this.

Kedikat seems to be hoping that by emphasizing or inventing Ukraine’s vulnerabilities and spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt about its motives, Dopers en masse will become disheartened and urge their representatives and the Biden administration to cut support for Ukraine. Played out along a broad social media front, this will bring the war to a satisfying conclusion favoring the noble-minded ex-Sovietskys.
