He was Asian? I didn’t get that at all. I think you’re just confusing this popular internet picture with the film.

Even from that point of view, doesn’t it say something that the picture incidentally has an asian kid for the double?

Didn’t realize until this thread that he was supposed to be asian. He was fat and a cartoon-ish looking kid, didn’t think about assigning a race to him. I took the squinting to mean it was too bright in the jungle or something.

I think that’s the Pixar way. He’s Asian, but it doesn’t really matter in any way so I’m sure plenty of people didn’t notice.
