In the EFL, How are financial penalties dealt with regarding player misconduct on and off the field?

This was quite the game! It included some pretty obvious player misconduct, the equivalent of which would get, say, an NFL player, a not-insignificant fine- from the league. Maybe from their team as well. For example, a player tore off his shirt, a forbidden act that I’ll equivocate to a Uniform Violation in the NFL. Such a thing would get him fined ~$15k, I believed. Then later, one guy got a red card for grabbing his foe by the throat. At least one guy appears to have clobbered another. I’ll note that only the one red card was issued, but I imagine a lot of these lads will be getting a Talking To, at the very least. The fines for conduct like that in the NFL are, I think, in a similar range.

So yeah, how does the EFL handle stuff like this?

Aside: I know that a question such as this could easily be answered by AI. But asking here, you know, starts a conversation with other humans. And I value that.

Fines issued by the FA for yellow and red cards are neglible (£10 for a yellow, £30 for a red) this fines are fixed for all levels of play including amatuer football.

Players may also be fined by their club, but this would depend on their contract. These fines could be more significant.

If a team get six or more bookings in a single game the club get fined a more significant amount (25k).

Offences can also lead to suspension. A single red card will result in a suspension (one for two yellow cards is a single game, a straight red is typically a 3 game suspension). Repeated yellow cards will also result in a suspension (if a player gets 5 yellows in the first half of the season or 10 yellows over the whole season).
