Well, thinking about it… Snow White would be pretty good. I would live in a cottage with seven gay dwarves (notice they never went after any women and always treated Snow delicately.) Not only that, I think dwarves are pretty hot, they are short, hairy, and have tummies. Of course, I would still be Snow White of the infinite perversions, but not a woman…that would be more like torture.
It’s been mentioned that there aren’t many good male roles in fairy tales. But, I would want the one roles ther is. Prince Charming. He got Snow White. He got Sleeping Beauty. He got Cinderella. He even scored with the Little Mermaid before she turned to sea foam (I still think that was a euphimism for going lesbian(no, not because of the fish, geeez)). That man has been around the fairy tale realm and then some. That’s the role for me.

I have read Beauty actually, Rosebud. I don’t care to read the other, Rose Daughter. I happened to read a review about it and I don’t like the fact that the Beast doesn’t change and that it’s mostly focused on roses and such. But I did greatly enjoy Beauty and I think she continued the strong character tradition of all the Beauties.
Oh, and it’s definitely still in print, Rosebud. I just bought that copy of it back in November of last year when I went to a J.K. Rawling book signing. They were selling novels that if you liked Harry Potter you would also enjoy and that was one of them. Redwall was another I got and Jophiel’s reading it right now but I heard it was great.

Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice isn’t a fairy tale, although it may as well be one. If it was Shylock would’ve POOFED at the end instead of walking out. This story is where I would chhose my character. Gratiano. He is the most wild, fun person in literature, but is respectably loyal to friends.
