Despite the gallons of Aass I’ve consumed over the years, my heart still belongs to Julebryg and the heroic saga that resulted in Copenhagen in late December 1995.
I’ve seen the Aass bock at my favorite super-bar (Sharp Edge Creekhouse, for those of you near Pittsburgh), and I admit to having a bit of a chuckle at the name :). That aside, I haven’t had one because there’s so many of those wonderfully addictive Belgians there that I have not yet sampled…terrible, terrible monks!
But I’ll be sure to keep getting some Aass high on my list!
I’m so jealous, yet feel so dirty at the same time …
Is this how it’s supposed to be?
About this saga … ? Københaven?
That’s nothing! I once scored 16 pieces of Asse in just one day.

My boss recently turned me on to Aass as well. I really enjoyed the flavor of Aass and can’t wait to get some more.
Zenster, if you are ever in Houston you got to let me buy you a drink.
