In Which Zenster Scores a Little Aass

By now, most of you know how I feel about those alluring Scandinavians. There is something impossible for me to resist about their dewy curves and blonde coloring. A little gentle force makes them open up to yield their luscious moist orifice for my lips to embrace.
[smacking and slurping sounds]

Now that’s one fine Pilsner!

Wha? Ow! Stop hitting me!

I’ll have you know I’m drinking an Aass Genuine Pilsner!

Brewed since 1834, it is Norway’s oldest beer and I love it. I’ll have to go back for some more of this tasty Aass real soon.

Made you look! Wucka, wucka, wucka …

I am exuding great moist gobs of frustration at this whole thread.

Dirty old man. Jeeez.

Agreed. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying that fine Aass, too, as well as their Juleøl and Bock.

Why you lucky d … er, catdancer!

I’m ready to try their Juleøle in a New York minute. If it’s anything like Carlsberg’s special black and gold label, I’ll be guzzling it aplenty.

Did you think Aass is similar to Tuborg Grøen? I think Aass is one of the closest there is to that all-time favorite of mine.

I’ve never heard of that Aass. But I sure do love my “Heinies”!

I once had to replace the thwart on my canoe. I paid $20.00 for a nice piece of Ash.

Pervert.

Really, though, I’d raise my own Aass in your honor, if I was into that sort of thing.

And here I thought this was going to be a thread about a donkey playing hockey.
Nuts.

Brewed since 1834, and that makes it the oldest beer from Norge? What the hell were they drinking before that, fermented goat milk?

As an example of an old beer, I give you Brand, brewed since 1340 AD.

Well, oldest commercially-made beer by a company that’s still in existence. Before the 1800s, to be honest, there wasn’t too much call for commercially made beer, because - I swear I’m not making this up - there was a law stating that everyone who owned or rented a farm had to brew a certain amount of beer. The amount varied according to the size of the farm and the number of people in the household. All that homebrew, plus the fact that most people were dirt poor anyway, tended to depress the market for commercial breweries.

Wow, mandatorily brewing your own beer. I like those Norwegians.

I can’t seem to find Manikin Pis any more. Now that was tasty!

Lessee, one easily misread thread title, check!

Some highly suggestive opening dialogue, check!

A view to post ratio of nearly thirty to one*, check!

Other perverted responses to thread, check!

Ignorance fighting post from country of interest, check!

Well, I’ll have to say that the $1.[sup]29[/sup] I invested on that little bit of Aass was money well spent. Yup, as soon as I saw it the, “Wow, what a great leading title for a thread that’d be!” light flashed on in my head. I guess that makes me a hard cord SDMB fan, I admit it freely.

[sup]* My all time view to post count record for a short thread may well be the Russian Whore Japanese F**k Chick Camel Master thread over in the Pit a while back. That one hit an incredible 46.8:1 ratio. So you can’t tell me that salacious thread titles don’t get results. This one is currently hovering at a mere 28.6:1 response factor.[/sup]

Come down to lower Bohunk. A place that I’ve visited has had it on tap for a while-another yummy brew.

To Zenster: Tuborg Grøen is a brew with which I’m not familiar, so I cannot comment.

One you may wish to sample is Augustinerbrau Maximator. I’ve not seen this libation in the states for years, yet recall it pleasantly.

and its not done yet?

Anyone who thinks that Aass is good name for a beer is an arrogant bastard

Where’d you’d buy it, Zenster? I’m always on the prowl for good northern and eastern European beers - German, Danish and Czech are my faves, but being a good Norwegian, I feel it my duty to sample a Norsk beer.

What, no leering references to the St. Pauli Girl (& her big steins) yet? Whatsamatta with you guys?

pug, I found this at the Camden Avenue BevMo. They’re selection of beers and (especially) sodas is superior to the Stevens Creek branch. While you’e there, be sure to pick up some Bundaberg’s Lemon Lime Bitters.

Now that I’ve found this brew, I can honestly say the Norskies brew some fine Aass beer. It has a good dose of hops and a clean finish. It also doesn’t have the watery backbone like Ringes. I like it a lot.
