This will be fun. I promise it will be fun. Also, this game setup is 100% Hoopy, so if it isn’t fun blame him.
But it will be fun.

Both Split and Not-so-simple had people who felt overwhelmed and/or had problems with accessing the board for whatever reason. Not-so-simple was a fairly complex setup with four factions. Split was a fairly basic game with a unique mechanic that shook things up, but it was full of newbies who were getting their bearings. Those factors and others (one player being a sock who got banned, for instance) created a perfect storm of non-playing, particularly in not-so-simpletown.
Mahaloth’s game appears to be in the end game. There don’t seem to be many “tricks” remaining in it, it’s more of just tying up loose ends (granted, I won’t comment on how accurate that appearance is, since I’m spoiled in his game, but the players are pretty much at the point where they are using basic strategy to finish the rest of the game).
My game is also fairly simple. There is gastardness, but nothing complex that should make anyone feel overwhelmed.
I want it but my track record for trying two games at once isn’t good and with a move coming up I think I’ll just be a spectator.

Oh man, this looks interesting as all get out. I’m not going to play, but I do want to watch, especially since I’ve never seen a Gastard game, but my curiosity has been piqued ever since I first heard people throwing that term around.
i’m dead in all my other mafia games.

Sounds good, count me in!
Sure, I am up for it. Sign me up.
Woo! One more.
(And shouldn’t it be “Inblourious Gasterds”)?
Well, there goes another lurker. (That join date masks a poster with, before the quoted post, four posts.)
I’m in three elsewhere, so I’ll have to pass. Sorry.
One more.
Well, you know what they say;
“Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.”
This game does that to the poor lurkers on this board. You go along for years without hitting double digits in your postcount… and BLAM, suddenly you’re closing in on a thousand after a game or two. Weren’t both Nanook and CatinaSuit like that?
Yeah, something like that. Far too addictive for its own good.
I’ll sit this one out, although I will probably ask for spoilers at some stage.
Speaking of spoilers… we are going to have an open spoiled discussion thread going on offsite once the game has started, so feel free to PM us and let us know if you want into that.
Koldanar is the poster I remember having his low post status wrecked by joining a Mafia game.
Come on! One more person to go!
Man, I wish I had time for this. Love the reference to my role in Gatman…er, Batman.
Tell me what a fantastic squid I am, and I’m in.
