Heh, Dubya’s done it again.
In an attempt to appease those calling for an investigation into the administration’s intelligence on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Bush signed an executive order to create a “bi-partisan” commission to run such an investigation. However, the kicker is:
“Bush created the panel and gave it until March 31, 2005, to issue a report – well after the November presidential election.”
He always seems to weasel his way out of everything, doesn’t he? And you can bet your bottom dollar that the Republicans on this commission will intentionally delay the report until after November – that is, of course, if the report insists the intelligence was faulty. If not, expect to see it real soon, and furthermore, expect it to be used as ammo to back the Decision to Go to War with Iraq.
God, I hate this man.
