The above link states:
Fifteen years later, a mob of extremists of a certain religion tried to enter the mosque by force to worship idols that had been smuggled into it. The mob was turned away by police, but the authorities’ fear of bloodshed kept them from removing the idols.
My first post was not perfect. I have never professed to be an expert on South Asian religions and I don’t listen to organized religions of any kind. I have no more to say on this issue.
